Often depicted with the antler of a stag like Pan and Herne the Hunter, Cernunnos is the god of fertility, life, animals, wealth and sometimes the underworld, he is worshiped in many parts of the British Isles and western Europr. The depiction of Cernunnos mostly came from early Christian literature, commentary from Greek and Roman scholars and archaeological evidence. Today, many pagan traditions honor Cernunnos as an aspect of the God, the embodiment of masculine energy and fertility and power.
