Beautiful Athame - Excellent Altar Piece
This particular Athame is in pristine condition and has a stainless steel blade.
Athame comes with a scabbard / sheath to keep it protected.
This Athame measures 11 inches total and the blade is 6.25 inches.
Intricate designs on both the sheath and handle. See all pics for more detail.
Very heavy knife - weighing approximately 8 ounces. Feels great in grip.
Beautiful piece. Celtic Design and very nice shaped UNSHARPENED blade.
Horned Moth Embellishment on Scabbard.
Just like all of my Athames, this too has been cleansed with Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse Water (collected on January 21 & 22, 2019 in Colorado by MydnytBlu) and charged in the full moonlight.
*This specific Athame design was based off the book The Hobbit by J. R. Tolkein published in 1937 and similar to the movie the Hobbit from 1977. However, it is not exactly the same, but the shape of the sword and pummel have some similarities. There is also writing on the blade that is in elvish. Engraved on the blade and cross guard of the sword are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say "Maegnas aen estar nin dagnir in yngyl im" which translates to "Maegnas is my name, I am the spider's bane."
